Animals in Winter Sweaters

Students chose a winter animal they wanted to dress up in a warm sweater. Researching photos of the animal and then winter sweater patterns, they then got to work sketching out a large scale portrait drawing. Various drawing techniques for the fur or hair of the animal, and the animal was to be in black marker only. Various patterns were experimented with in sketchbooks before a final was decided upon. Sweaters were to be in color to contrast with the black and white animal.
