Inspirational Person Gelli Print Collage

In preparation for this project, students researched an inspirational figure in their lives. Students then created a few ideas for a stencil, choosing their favorite one. Stencils were to represent the person they had chosen. Stencils were then cut our of clear plastic for use with the gelli prints. Gelli prints were made – students chose colors that represented the mood they wanted to convey through the person they chose. Once gelli printss had dried they were cut up and collaged with an enlarged copy of photo of the inspirational person chosen. Stamps were used to print words that represented the inspirational person chosen.
