Glass Book Covers

Students love doing this group project in glass. First students research an interesting book cover they would like to duplicate using a variety of glass types. The criteria is that the book cover should be recognizable, but as artists they are given the creative freedom to express the various images on the book cover using any glass medium they feel will look the best.

Once a book is chosen, the group decides how each section will look. What glass type will be used? What will be fully fused and what will need to be tac fused?
